Actress Sonam Kapoor reportedly issued a YouTuber who allegedly made fun of her in a video a legal letter. Sonam Kapoor, her husband Anand Ahuja, and their fashion labels, according to the notification delivered to YouTuber Raginyy by the Bengaluru-based online reputation management company AiPlex Software Pvt Ltd, were negatively impacted by one of Raginyy’s videos. YouTuber claims Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja sent her a legal notice.
Raginyy claims that the in question film explored certain inappropriate comments made by the actor at particular press conferences.
In reaction to the warning, Raginyy published a new video titled “She Who Must Not Be Named” in which she made an effort to defend her position by stating that she had never intended to disparage or insult the actor. “At the outset, I remarked that we occasionally make statements comparable to what the actor has said. Saying foolish things occasionally is a typical human behaviour. In the first video, I supported Sonam more than I denigrated her, she claimed.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Raginyy noted: “Thousands of hate accounts on Insta, hundreds of borderline cyber bullying r0@$ts on YouTube, hundreds of subreddit posts dedicated to saying the most unhinged things about you and a video with 4k views is what you wanna take down? Stop deleting my insta posts, it’s not okay.”
Meanwhile, netizens swiftly gathered in the comments section, extending support to the YouTuber while criticising the star couple. “I don’t think anything was wrong in that video it was just normal roast,” one user noted, while another one commented: “I hadn’t heard of her. Saw the video after the legal notice. Innocuous funny work by her. These people with influence are using their position of power to silence critics. All Influencers of the world should come together to support Raginyy else they’ll soon have an existential crisis.”
However, Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the notice or whether the said firm was actually authorized to take such measures.
