The actress, 31, and Wells, 38, wed on Saturday in a small ceremony at a California vineyard (08.20.22).
Some of Sarah’s former “Modern Family” co-stars, including Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, attended the happy couple’s wedding.
Even after the wedding, Sofia, 50, shared some behind-the-scenes images on her Instagram page.
On the photo-sharing website, the actress, who has over 26 million followers, captioned one of the pictures, “#sarahandwells wedding.”
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Sarah and Wells have previously put off their wedding several times. However, the actress was able to host her bridal shower in June, and the two of them have since entered the church together.
In 2017, Sarah, who portrayed Haley Dunphy in “Modern Family,” and Wells began dating after she got a social media direct message from him.
The celebrity pair got engaged in 2019, but the pandemic frequently interfered with their wedding plans.
Wells stated in 2020 that there were no wedding plans.
“I guess the idea was that we would initially begin thinking about that around this time, and now that this is happening, you know, what’s the point of even attempting to get something solidified with everything just being so up in the air?”
Wells decided against getting married using Zoom at the moment.
The TV star, though, was amenable to the notion of a smaller ceremony than they’d originally planned.
Wells stated that their wedding plans would be affected by the pandemic if it lasted “really, really long.” “If it lasts really, really long, I suppose then we would do like a really tiny outdoor thing,” she added.
