Actor-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna has heaped praise on teacher and author Sudha Murthy as she shared a video of a recent event in London, where Sudha’s son-in-law and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was present. Twinkle also posed for photographs with the politician at the event. Actor-husband Akshay Kumar was also seen with her.

On Wednesday, Twinkle, who just finished her Masters in Fiction Writing at the esteemed Goldsmiths, University of London, posted a video montage of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli singing at the occasion on Instagram Reels. A picture of Twinkle, Akshay, and Rishi Sunak posing together was also featured. All of them wore formal and semi-formal attire.
Twinkle made fun of wearing high heels to the event in her caption. As much as I detest dressing up and wearing heels, this evening was worth all the hurt toes, the woman wrote. Twinkle Khanna’s connection to Sudha Murty
Twinkle had interviewed Sudha Murty in 2021 to commemorate the second anniversary of her digital site Tweak India, and the two had talked about their choices and lives. Twinkle had mentioned during their conversation that kids from wealthy homes occasionally experience some remorse. She questioned Sudha about how she kept her kids grounded.
Sudha had also opened up about realising that she can’t rely on anybody else except herself. “You are the best friend to yourself and you’re the worst enemy of yourself too,” she had said.
