Everyone should pay attention!!! Taylor Swift and Matty Healy Broken Up. Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have split up after a brief affair that began in May 2023, following her six-year breakdown with Joe Alwyn. According to TMZ, a someone close to the relationship between The 1975 frontman and Tay revealed that the pop sensation is “single” again.
“Taylor and Matty broke up,” Entertainment Tonight verified, citing it as the reason why Taylor and Matty didn’t work out: “Taylor and Matty broke up. They’re both really busy and have realised they’re not really compatible,” a source told ET. “Taylor’s friends want the best for her and aren’t surprised that their relationship ended because she recently ended a long-term relationship.”

Recap: On May 3, The Sun broke the shocking revelation that the singers were dating. “She and Matty are madly in love,” a source told the magazine at the time. “It’s very early in the morning, but it feels right.” They dated briefly almost ten years ago, but the timing just didn’t work out. Taylor and Joe actually divorced in February, so there was no crossover. Matty and Taylor have both been on tour in recent weeks, so there has been a lot of Face Timing and messaging, but she can’t wait to see him again.”
Taylor and Matty were recently seen out and about in New York City, visiting elite members’ clubs and legendary recording studios.
Matty recently attended all three of Taylor’s Eras Tour Nashville performances and even hung out with the singer’s father at her tour stop in Philadelphia.
TMZ also revealed earlier today that there may have been another sign that proves the two stars’ split: Matty’s behaviour at his The 1975 show this past weekend in Denmark. Previously, the frontman was known to kiss random people in the audience during his song “Robbers.” However, at a concert in January 2023 that Taylor herself attended, he announced that he would no longer do his signature manoeuvre.
