Cameron Diaz Comes Out of Retirement for Netflix Movie With Jamie Foxx

Tom called Cameron unexpectedly and offered to assist her "unretire" from acting since he is somewhat familiar with the process.

She previously claimed to be retired from the movie industry, but after agreeing to work with Jamie Foxx in the upcoming Netflix film Back in Action, she has decided to dust off her acting skills.

On Wednesday, June 29, Jamie made the revelation on social media by sharing an audio recording of a phone call he, Cameron, and Tom Brady had!

To reassure the Charlie's Angels veteran that she is prepared to return to the field, Jamie had enlisted the aid of his NFL GOAT friend! Below, listen!

Tom told Cameron after Jamie patched him through on the conversation, "I was talking to Jamie, and he mentioned you needed a few ideas on how to unretire.

And I'm fairly successful and still playing football," he continued, referring to his decision to play again after declaring his retirement earlier this year.

Seth Gordon, the director of Horrible Bosses, will helm the next feature from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O'Brien, the screenwriter of Neighbors. Later this year, As both want to start filming.

Jamie and Cameron acted together in Cameron's final film performance in the 2014 version of Annie.

Cameron revealed two years ago that she had stopped performing following Annie and that it had given her "peace."

When you're highly visible as an actor, doing press, and putting yourself out there, a lot of energy is always flowing at you.
