Vishal Bhardwaj recently stated in an interview with News18 Showsha that he has spoken to Shah Rukh Khan about collaborating on a movie and that he believes they may soon announce a project.
We’ve been wanting to collaborate for a while, Vishal Bhardwaj stated. In fact, because I adored Jawan, I called him and had a long conversation with him. We were extremely close to making a movie at one time. Additionally, it was advertised, and we planned to shoot, but something went wrong.
According to a rumour in the Mumbai Mirror, the director had plans to produce 2 States in 2010 with Shah Rukh Khan and Asin Thottumkal. Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor subsequently took the major roles in the movie, which was eventually directed by Abhishek Varman.

Fans may still watch King Khan in a Vishal Bhardwaj movie even though there hasn’t been any official confirmation of the two’s working together on a movie; the “Pathaan” actor has a “indirect” cameo in the upcoming Netflix movie “Khufiya.” Shah Rukh Khan isn’t in the Netflix movie, but one of his flicks makes a “indirect” cameo appearance.
Vishal said, “Cameo toh ho hi gaya hai indirect toh film bhi iss baar honi chahiye,” in reference to the indirect cameo. Feeling is present in Andar, I believe. Shah Rukh is “ne bhi mujhe bola hai” with “iss baar mujhe kuch lag raha hai ke hum log kuch kar payenge saath mein.”
The October 5 release date for Vishal Bhardwaj’s film “Khufiya,” starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ali Fazal, Azmeri Haque Badhon, and Ashish Vidyarthi, has been delayed. Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan served as the inspiration for the movie.
