Karva Chauth is an auspicious Hindu festival celebrated by women in northern and western parts of India on the fourth day of the full moon in the month of Kartik. Women observe fast from sunrise to moonrise and offer offerings to Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati and Moon God. Women observe this Karva Chauth fast for the better health of their husband or life partner, stronger bond between husband and wife and longevity of their marriage. This year Karva Chauth is being celebrated on 1 November.
1. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham
The film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ came in 2001 and the impact that every character had on the audience is still there. This film is one of the best films of Karan Johar.
