Manasvi Mamgai was one of the confirmed contestants to enter the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 17. However, Manasvi took a step back at the last moment and was replaced by lawyer Sana Raees Khan during the premiere episode. Manasvi Mamgai declared that Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui are cheaters.
Now, she is all set to enter the Bigg Boss 17 house as a wildcard entry. Manasvi got in touch with ETimes TV for an exclusive chat and talked about her participation in the show, the news of her backing out at the last minute and much more.

No, the news is true. There was no disagreement. Every show has a trump card and it is introduced later in the show and that is the situation and everything else is just rumours.
Yes, I’ve an advantage over others but I also have a disadvantage because the contestants inside have developed bonds of a couple of weeks which I haven’t. So I’ve both.
Yes, there is pressure because they are already established in the game and I am entering after two weeks. I know that I have to make my mark on the show very quickly. I believe that Bigg Boss always offers something new and different to its viewers and this time they have decided to introduce wildcards so early in the game.
Yes, I have seen the show closely. All the contestants are performing brilliantly so far. I feel good that there are some contestants who are playing the game with their heart, there are some who are using their brain and playing a manipulative game.
According to me, from what I have seen in the game, I find Vicky Jain and Munawar Farooqui to be somewhat two-faced and manipulative. Cunning is a very strong word that I don’t think I’ve seen in anyone yet. The YouTuber gang is boring, they are too slow at the game.
Bigg Boss is something which I’ve not done before so I’ll go inside the show and only then I’ll get to know about the show. Sometimes people are bossy, sometimes they are nice. I would like to go inside with a positive mindset and that everyone is coming inside with a good intention. I would like to think that everyone is coming there to have fun and with a lot of positivity.
I will just be myself and do the best I can in the given situation and do the right thing. Rest of my life I never cared about people or their decisions. My approach towards life has always been unconventional. If I start worrying about people’s judgment then I will not be able to achieve anything in life.
I’m going in with good intentions. I would like to maintain this attitude because this is something that is going to make history. Whatever we are going to say is going to last forever. I would like to leave a positive impression. I want to do work that is more inspiring and ambitious.
It is extremely uncomfortable to share your space with so many people. I’m not anxious about the show, I’m very calm. I’m anxious about these daily things because in the outside world we are so dependent on others to do our work like washing our clothes, cooking, we are so dependent on our staff. But at the same time I feel I’ll be okay because I have been living an independent life. I haven’t shared my bed with anyone in my life.
You never know. When you are in such a unique situation where there is so much pressure and during that time someone helps you or becomes your emotional support. It is very hard to predict. I don’t think I’ll shy away from expressing my feelings. But at the end of the day it is an individual game and even if you have a love angle on the show ultimately only one of you will win the show.
A lot of people say if you have a love angle on the show it works in your favour but I disagree. I’ve seen couples fighting so much because there are high pressure situations, I don’t know it could go either way. If you are a strong person you don’t need a love angle to win the show. If I like someone I’ll be open to it, why not?
