Janhvi Kapoor was born on March 6, 1997 is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. Born to Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, she made her acting debut in 2018 with the commercially successful romantic drama film Dhadak. Kapoor has since starred in the Netflix films Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl
Janhvi Kapoor was born on March 6, 1997 to actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor. She has a younger sister, Khushi, and two half-siblings, actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. She is the niece of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. She studied at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. Before making her film debut, she took an acting class at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in California.
Kapoor played a dual role opposite Rajkummar Rao in the comedy horror movie Roohi. She will also star alongside Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani in Dostana 2, and appear in Karan Johar‘s period film Takht.
In March 2021, she completed Good Luck Jerry, a Hindi adaptation of the 2018 Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila, produced by Aanand L. Rai.
