Halle Berry briefly addresses Drake’s latest single cover for “Slime You Out.” The rapper’s brand-new song, the lead single off his upcoming album For All the Dogs, was released on Friday. It is the first time the two of them have worked together. Berry is shown getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on the single’s cover. Halle Berry claims that she didn’t authorise Drake.
On Wednesday, Drake and SZA teased their impending collaboration by sharing the identical single cover on their individual Instagram pages without revealing what it would be or when it will appear.
After the single was released, Halle Berry posted an image to Instagram with the words “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!” in a pink square. The actress was questioned about Drake utilising the image of her for the single in the comment section by a user going by the handle “slicartist”.
They “didn’t get my permission,” she wrote. “That’s not cool, I thought better of him!” Then she added, “hence my post today,” to another comment she had made earlier. You must be the bigger person and move on when people you adore let you down.
At his tour stop in Austin, Texas, on Monday, Drake revealed the single’s arrival, saying he wanted to release it as soon as possible because he knows his fans are anticipating the album’s Sept. 22 release.
What an era, what an era. During the tour stop with 21 Ssavage, he added, “I thank all of y’all. “Yes, I do, deep inside. There is a tonne of love.
SZA released more collaborations on Friday in addition to “Slime You Out.” The artist also made an acoustic version of her smash song “Snooze,” with Justin Bieber, who had just appeared in the song’s music video.
