Father Yash Johar is tribute by KJo, who says, “I feel that he is my God”

In addition to reminiscing about his 25 years in show business, filmmaker Karan Johar, Father Yash Johar is tribute by KJo, who will be joining the judges panel for ‘India’s Got Talent’ season 10, also paid tribute to his late father, producer Yash Johar, saying that everything he has accomplished is due to his blessings and goodwill.

This coming weekend, the talent-based reality show ‘Hunar Ka Vishwa Cup’ will culminate in an incredible grand finale.

The top six finalists, Abujmarh Mallakhamb Academy, Mahila Band, Golden Girls, Zero Degree, Raaga Fusion, and The ART, will give it their all one last time on this stage in an attempt to win the coveted trophy, bringing to life a visual spectacle unlike anything seen before.

Karan Johar, who will be joining Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Badshah, and the judges’ panel, will be adding a “dharm-atic” twist to the grand finale. The top six finalists will honour KJo, who has delighted audiences for the past 25 years with his magical moments and endearing characters in his films.

“You know, sometimes it truly feels like when moments like these come, I’m having an out-of-body experience,” a moved KJo remarked, touched by their heartfelt tribute. It doesn’t feel like me, as if I’m not the one doing this.”

The ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ director said: “I don’t know how I’ve spent 25 years. I always feel that when my father entered the industry, he received so much love and respect, and he made many films. But the success I thought he should have received at that time, he didn’t get.”

“When my first movie came out, I had the impression that the whole film industry had united and prayed that this movie would succeed for my father. Even though it has been 19 years since he left us, I still feel that everything good that has happened to me, everything I’ve discovered, everything I’ve accomplished, is a result of his kindness and blessings. As I often say, you gain a God when you lose a parent. He seems to be my god,” he remarked.

“Whenever I am going through tough times, I feel that he gives me strength. I’m very blessed to have his memory, and I’m very blessed to have my mother, who is still such a strong presence in my life. She has played such a big role in raising my children. I’m just very emotional right now,” shared Karan.

“As Kirron Ji mentioned, there are moments when time seems to have flown by. It appears that time has passed by without our awareness. More importantly, you should take success lightly and treat it like a failure. That’s the only way your accomplishments will really take off. I was pleased with how you all presented these lovely performances to me. These kinds of moments reassure you that all your hard work has been worthwhile,” he remarked.

“I have judged many shows, and coming here today means more than just showing up,” KJo continued, expressing his feelings. This show evokes so many different emotions. Kirron Ji is the reason for this show’s renown and elegance.”

“I considered my time as a judge on Kirron Ji’s previous seasons to be a training ground for judging reality shows. Not just with her huge heart, but also with her amazing personality, Kirron Ji taught us so much. Every gesture she makes, including raising her saree’s pallu during stunts, makes my heart skip a beat.”

Additionally, Karan revealed: “My mother, who is an avid watcher of the show, always notices the saree Kirron Ji is wearing and becomes enthralled with the details.” When she insists on wearing the exact jewellery that Kirron Ji wore in the episode, it drives me insane because I wonder why Kirron Ji chooses to wear such exquisite jewellery.”

Every season, there’s something about this show that resonates with the people of India. Feeling like I’m returning home, I’m proud of the show and proud to be back,” he continued.

Last season’s finalists, Rishabh Chaturvedi and Ishita Vishwakarma, will also grace the stage to cheer the finalists.
The grand finale of ‘India’s Got Talent‘ will air on Saturday and Sunday on Sony.
