Eva Longoria wore a violet one-shoulder bodycon dress with an asymmetrical keyhole cutout

While promoting her feature film directorial debut, Flamin’ Hot, Eva Longoria has been dishing out beautiful looks one after the other. Longoria has firmly established her multi-hyphenate reputation as an actor, producer, director, Eva Longoria wore a violet one-shoulder bodycon dress and fashion queen in anything from a themed orange two-piece and white button-up maxidress to a bejewelled plunging dress with a party pony. She recently added a slick and seductive brilliant violet mididress to her wardrobe.

Longoria donned a deep amethyst-colored bodycon dress with one shoulder and an asymmetric keyhole cutout across her chest while making an appearance on La Mesa Caliente at the Telemundo Centre to promote the movie (now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu). She accessorised with a set of complementary rings, a pair of drop earrings that matched the gemstone dress, and metallic silver Jimmy Choo pointy toe heels.

She had soft waves in her brunette hair and a half-up ponytail, and she looked glamorous with long lashes and peachy lips. She was accompanied by two of the film’s stars: Jesse Garcia, who plays Richard Montaez, the creator of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and Annie Gonzalez, who plays Judy Montaez, Richard’s wife.

After reading the script, Longoria told InStyle that she felt driven to relay Montaez’s tale. She recalled thinking, “‘I have to be the one to tell the story,'” “I felt like I owned it. I had a Richard Montaez-like sensation. I’ve heard “no” a million times for various explanations. I’ve heard things like, “No, people like you don’t come up with ideas,” and “No, you’re a woman, maybe you shouldn’t direct.”

The actress is pleased to finally witness a hero that looks like her, even though she claims that everyone can relate to this “rags-to-riches” tale. “This is a film for everyone. Everybody, but especially the Hispanic community, has things to learn from it because it’s about a man who triumphs over adversity, she said. Hollywood gets to decide what heroes look like, and you can’t be what you can’t see. Oh my god, here’s my chance to create a brand-new hero. And I happen to look just like that hero.”
