In Elliot Page’s book, some shocking disclosures concerning actress Olivia Thirlby are presented. Elliot Page reveals how Olivia Thirlby won his heart.
The Juno actor disclosed in his biography that he had an intimate relationship with his Juno co-star.
Olivia, according to Page, was the “first woman I had a suitably consensual sexual relationship with.”
“We were the same age, but she seemed so much older, capable, and centred,” the Juno MacGuff actor recalls of meeting Olivia. Sexually open, and a far cry from where I was at the time.”
Olivia appeared in “Juno” as Juno’s best friend Leah.
In his memoir, Page stated that their “chemistry was palpable” and that he was “embarrassingly shy” around Thirlby.
Page written Thirlby informed him, “I’m really attracted to you,” and he responded in kind.
“Being intimate with Olivia helped my shame dissipate,” the actor stated. I didn’t see a spark of it in her eyes, and I wanted that — to be done feeling sorry for myself.”
Page stated that the relationship was kept private and that he is unsure whether his mother “suspected anything” at the time.
Thirlby came out as bisexual in 2011, telling Brooklyn Magazine at the time, “No one should have to hide their sexual orientation,” according to PEOPLE.
