The divorce between rapper-singer Honey Singh and wife Shalini Talwar has been approved. The couple’s 2.5-year legal battle was resolved when Delhi’s family court accepted their separation. Honey Singh has got divorce from wife Shalini Talwar from the court. The court asked Honey Singh one last time if he wanted to give the marriage another shot before approving the separation. In response, the singer said that it was pointless to live together at this time.
A Delhi court on Tuesday granted divorce to singer and rapper Honey Singh and his wife. After the conclusions of both the parties, the court finally agreed to separate cases.
For those unaware, Shalini Talwar had leveled allegations of domestic violence against the ‘Brown Rang’ singer. She said she was living in fear as she was subjected to mental, physical, emotional, sexual and financial violence by Singh and his family. The charges were withdrawn after the divorce was granted by the court and a settlement was reached between the two parties.
The terms of the settlement were kept in a sealed envelope. In September 2022, Honey Singh also handed over a demand draft of Rs 1 crore to his wife as per the settlement decision reached in court.
At a gathering in December 2022, Hirdesh Singh—better known by his stage name, Yo Yo Honey Singh—officially announced his engagement to Tina Thadani. The rapper then disclosed to Bollywood Hungama how he got in touch with Tina Thadani, his girlfriend, through friends in Dubai. The new song “Paris Ka Trip” by Honey Singh features Tina Thadani.
Actress and model Tina Thadani, originally from Canada, currently resides in Mumbai. In addition, she is a director. The Leftovers is a short film she directed that explores the struggles of Mumbai’s lower-class population and the gap in educational attainment.
